TPHCCA Positions Opening up in 2009The following positions will be open in 2009. Please email Cynthia Meneses for more information. Executive BoardThe following positions must meet these requirements:Must have all their dues and fees current and postmarked by February 15 of the election year. Candidate must have children enrolled in care and providing home childcare. Have been an active member of the Association for no less than two (2) years and is chairing a committee in the current year or is currently serving on the Board or currently a Conference Chair. Position: Treasurer Description: Fiduciary accountability; work with the president to develop annual budget; coordinate income tax returns with accountant; orchestrate and report on annual audit, responsible for all monetary transactions of TPHCCA. Collect all dues from members and deposit same to the account of the Association. Be responsible for all receipts, deposits, disbursements and withdrawals of Association funds. Make reports quarterly and annually to the Board of Directors and to Members via mail (newsletter). Sign all checks with designated person by the Board of Directors. Shall be bonded. Perform any other duties as are incidental to the office. Position: Membership Secretary Description: Maintain current database for membership of TPHCCA, provide current information for Executive committee and Board of directors, send annual membership renewal, certificates, membership card, work closely with election committee for member eligibility to run for office or serve on committee. Maintain a mailing list. Perform any other duties as are incidental to the office. Regional RepresentativesThe following positions must meet these requirements:Reside in the region that they represent; organizing and implementing regional workshop, disseminate TPHCCA information and activities; liaison between Board and members of region, voting member of the Board of Directors. Represent their respective regions at all functions of the state. Position: Region 1, 2, 3, 4, 5E, 5W, 6E, 6W, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11N, 11S, 12 Description: |  |
